DSI Security is currently searching to fill an opening in the Woodcliff Lake, NJ area for a Security Receptionist. We offer Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance. You will also have the availability of 401k (w/ company match). DSI will provide paid vacations, paid training, and free uniforms.
To be considered for employment applicants MUST have a valid SORA license.
Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:
Have experience working multiple telephone lines; including [more] transferring and logging incoming calls.
Have a friendly Customer-Service Oriented attitude.
Be at least 21 years old
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Have a valid driver's license
Have reliable means of transportation
Must have good communications skills, both written and verbal
Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Proven working experience in similar roles
Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products
Greet visitors warmly and professionally, facilitating their visit requirements
Answer phones and route calls as requested
Complete daily and special reports by recording observations and information
Deter safety and security threats by maintaining visibility
Being alert to observe, correct, and report safety and security hazards
Assist in securing premises and personnel by monitoring reception area and surveillance equipment as well as issuing visitor badges.
Maintain visitor log ensuring guests complete the visitor registration process
Effectively interact with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public
Perform clerical duties and administrative tasks for personnel as requested
Presents oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct
Operates a variety of standard office equipment, including a personal computer and a variety of computer software, phone, fax, calculator, shredding, and photocopy machine.
Maintain immediate work area and main lobby ensuring these areas are presentable and organized at all times
Coordinate assigned administrative tasks requiring confidentiality, discretion and professionalism
Complying with all client and company policies and procedures
